Ford Motor Company is holding its annual Heritage Month celebration this month to honor the company’s 112 years of history and rich heritage.
This year’s Heritage Month is inspired by patriotic ads in pop art style from the U.S., and pays tribute to Ford as a pioneer of the automobile industry and a continuous innovator for over a century.
"We’re proud to celebrate Heritage Month each year, and recognize the numerous contributions that Ford Motor Company has made to the automotive industry throughout our company’s history,” said David Westerman, managing director, Asia Pacific Emerging Markets, Ford Motor Company.
“From the first moving assembly line more than a 100 years ago, to airbags that are now a standard safety feature in every vehicle, the auto industry today would look vastly different today without Ford’s passion for continuous innovation and technological breakthroughs.”
“This year’s Heritage Month theme was chosen to represent not only the vibrant heritage of Ford, but also the rich heritage and cultures of the places we do business,” added Westerman.

Guam celebrations include;
Special offers for customers during the month include 15% off Quick Lane Tire & Auto Center’s Hot Summer Savings Car Care Package at $59.45 after online rebate, includes oil change, tire rotation, battery service, 27- point inspection and fluid top off. In celebration of Ford’s racing heritage and the 50th year of the Mustang, Triple J will celebrate the icon that has captivated millions, with a Mustang Madness event to be held on Sunday, June 28th at the Guam International Raceway Park from 1-6pm. Admission is free and open to the public. Mustang owners are invited to pre-register at the Ford showroom in Upper Tumon for a free event shirt and automatic entry into our free raffle for Ford limited edition racing gear. The Ford showroom in Upper Tumon has been transformed into a Ford history exhibition space, where customers are able to revisit the early days of Ford Motor Company and learn about the vision of Henry Ford and the company he started that “put the world on wheels”.
As part of the showcase, Triple J has partnered with the Guam Museum to host some of Guam’s early 1960’s archives including historic photos and a vintage 1960’s “boombox”. Featured as part of the display are three Ford vintage vehicles – a 1966 Mustang Convertible, 1966 Mustang Fastback and a 1940’s Pick Up. The showroom will be open to the public daily, Monday through Saturday 8-6pm and on Sunday 12-5pm for customers to take a trip back in time, as well as learn about Ford’s place in our history, our culture, and our future.

Ford’s Heritage
More than a century has passed since Henry Ford founded the company that would change history and “put the world on wheels”. From the first laminated window shields and driver airbags, to Ford’s EcoBoost engine series that delivers better fuel economy and more power, Ford has always been a pioneer in the automobile industry. Many of its vehicles, like the Ford Mustang, EcoSport compact SUV, and Ranger pick-up, have become iconic and are now deeply rooted in countries globally.

Ford in Guam
Ford's heritage in Guam is almost as rich as the local automotive industry itself, having been in the market since the 1960’s. Ford cars have set the standards in terms of safety, innovation, fuel efficiency and performance.
"Ford’s vision in Guam and all over the globe starts from its people: valued customers and employees, suppliers, local communities and loyal Ford fans,” said Jay Jones, Senior Vice President of Triple J Enterprises, Inc.
“We are proud to be a part of Ford’s global family and this month we honor Ford’s place in our history, our hearts and our future, and our shared commitment to provide customers with an even better ownership experience.”
