Triple J's Milestones
April 18, 1996 Triple J opens the Triple J 24 Hour Mini Mart
at the Mobil Service Station adjacent to Triple J Used Car Mart
and Express Tire and Lube, in front of Kmart in Upper Tumon.
June 12, 1996 Triple J Used Car Mart announces the implementation
of its Triple J Certified Used Car Program, allowing buyers
an alternative when purchasing a vehicle. All certified used
cars are newer than 4 years old, have less than 50,000 miles
on them, and have passed a 110-point quality assurance inspection.
Oct. 2, 1996 WDI Saipan Inc. is formed, and Triple J enters
in to a partnership to bring Tony Roma’s and Capricciosa
restaurants to Saipan.
November 1996 Triple J moves up the annual Deloitte &
Touche/Guam Business Top 50 Companies in Micronesia, with
a 23.3% increase over the previous year, ranking No.13 with
$48.90 million in sales.
Dec. 27, 1996 The official opening of Triple J Express Tire
& Lube Inc., Kmart location takes place.
March 25, 1997 Outback Steakhouse has its grand opening.
Located in Tumon, the restaurant has become popular with tourists
and a favorite of military and local families alike.
